Begin checking them off
Then work on the rest

A loving husband
In headship does fine
Pleasing Jehovah
This arrangement divine

The Bible describes
A capable wife
These fine qualities
Lead to a good life

Tell those around you
What you’re looking for
Your friends and family
Those you adore

They all want to see
You find happiness
Considering suggestions
You may be blessed

When you find someone
Who catches your eye
Observe their behavior
But please do not spy

Don’t wait too long
Make intentions known
May respect for feelings
Always be shown

Please give them time
To ponder their thoughts
This you have pondered
But they may have not

If they don’t have feelings
The way that you do
Respect their decision
Look for someone new

Jehovah will assist
You in your quest
If you do as he asks
And give him your best
