A Day in Service with Our Angel Brothers

The angels prepare
For their field service day
Looking forward to helping
All Those who have prayed

They are quite eager
To get the work done
Knowing that this work
Might save someone

Which of the humans
Will they work with today
Who will show up
And what will they say

They take their positions
Before their God
Assignments received
And then they press on

Hopefully someone
Will want to study
The humans don’t see it
But they have a buddy

Working all morning
Going door to door
Looking for interest
Let’s do just one more

The car group decided
They needed a break
Off to the coffee shop
How long will it take

The angels just spotted
Someone in need
Matching them with a teacher
Who’ll plant the seed

That new little seed
Will Need to be watered
Another fine witness
Will later be spotted

Someday in the future
When God makes it grow
The best life ever
Is what they will know

Jesus said the good news
had to be preached
Before paradise
We all could reach

Until that day comes
We all must press on
Knocking on doors
To find just one
