Elders, Gifts in Men

Our God provides us
With gifts in men
Serving as shepherds
Clear to the end

Sometimes a sheep
Strays a little off course
The shepherds direct
Without using force

The love of our God
They must reflect
Their loving care
Has the desired effect

We make their load lighter
By doing our part
When we give of ourselves
From a genuine heart

When the flock sticks together
It keeps us all safe
Away from the dangers
And maintaining our faith

What a loving provision
We have in these men
May we always show
We appreciate them
