Family

Our family is a gift we share,
This gift we have is very rare,
It’s something that I deeply cherish,
And in God’s service I pray we flourish,

His love is what keeps us together,
This world’s storms helps us to weather,
When times are tough we hold on tight,
And always try to do what’s right,

Sometimes I May say something wrong,
Or give opinions way too strong,
Remember that when this occurs,
And when you get your feelings hurt,

I didn’t mean it, no siree,
And hope that you will forgive me,
The closer to the end we get,
The more we need our safety net,

I need you and you need me,
May we always prove to be,
A faithful, loving Family
