A Guest in Jehovah’s House

Jehovah’s glorious house
Is a house built of love
Perfectly reflecting
Our wondrous God above

Jehovah is inviting
Everyone to enter
His guests must observe
His law to the letter

God’s commands are not
A burden to us at all
He wants all who enter
To come and have a ball

Jehovah makes a promise
To those who do obey
They will enjoy a peace
Like the sea has waves

The Earth he’s created
For the sons of men
God’s tent in the future
Will reside with them

He’s the perfect host
Graciousness supreme
Nothing is lacking
Generous to extreme

His artwork is gorgeous
With amazing colors
The Rainbows and flowers
Observed through the summers

A fantastic sunset
In the evening sky
The silhouette of birds
Soaring way up high

Magnificent light ribbons
That both bend and twist
The Aurora Borealis
Is a wonder of his

He spreads out a banquet
Of well oiled dishes
An abundance of flavors
The food delicious

Succulent fruits
So juicy and ripe
That sweetness is oozing
Which ones would you like

Fragrances wafting
On the crisp morning air
Enticing your senses
To come and share

He’s entertaining us
With his light shows
With Thunder and lightning
The Heavens glows

The animal’s antics
Making us smile
We can’t help but sit
And watch for a while

A songbird is singing
Off in the distance
Calling to his mate
Announcing his presence

Appreciative guests
We must strive to be
If we want to be part
Of God’s family

Showing much kindness
To his other guests
Remembering always
The others he has blessed

Taking time to care
For the things he creates
Cleaning up the earth
With rake, hoe, and spade

Showing Appreciation
For the price that he paid
The son he gave up when
The sacrifice that he made

Tell all whom you meet
Of this wonderful gift
So that they may also
Become guests of his

Dedicate you life
To the one giving his love
You never will regret it
When you give to God above
