That’s a nice name
Four men in the Bible
were called the same

Please tell me which
of them you mean
So that I may
Some knowledge glean

The first man called James
Was Judas’ dad
The one that was good
Not the one that turned bad

There is not much
About him that’s known
So on to the second James
Is where we will go

The second one’s known as
One of the Sons on Thunder
He was Jesus’ cousin
Along with his brother

Those sons of Zebedee
Needed to show
Humility like Jesus
To everyone one they’d known

The third James we find
Was the son of Alpheas
Who may have been
Also known as Clopas

Perhaps due to his size
He’s called “James the Less”
His mother named Mary
Was there at Jesus death

The fourth James in line
The one we all know
One of Jesus’ half brothers
Faith in him did not show

Later this changed
As we can see
