The Perfect Judge

When I see injustice
I’m angered to the core
The pain can be intense
It makes me….oh so sore
Men taking what they want
And feeling they deserve
These ones I must remember
My God they do not serve
To see the wicked pay
For all their selfishness
That’s something I would like
I really must confess
When I go through trials
Thinking that God’s not there
Feeling I’m all alone
And that he doesn’t care
Feelings well up inside me
Defensive I do get
I must be so careful
That I do not forget
I have a perfect judge
Who will take care of me
Punishing the wicked
The righteous ones set free
I must hold on till then
My God makes me stronger
He gives me this promise
“It won’t be too much longer”
