Tice Cong. In Paradise

Let me tell you a story
The story of us
In the near future
When paradise comes
Oh the sights and the sounds
All the feelings we’ll share
And the wonderful smells
On the crisp morning air

Close your eyes as you listen
Without a care
And imagine yourself
Now being there
Looking around
The people you’ll see
You recognize them
As your Tice Family

Lyle and Sonja
Walk down by the beach
As they look for someone
The Bible to teach
The wind in their hair
(Yes, Lyle’s too)
The sand in their toes
The sky is so blue

Glistening Raindrops
And Rainbows anew
Lequenta and Greg
Have seen quite a few
Splashing in puddles
Little ones in tow
Playing in sunshine
With hearts all aglow

We look in on the Eklins
Both Robin and Phil
There they are coming
Up over the hill
What a surprise
For them to see
All of the bunnies
That they have set free

Kelsey and Avery
Zoom by as we speak
Riding On horseback
Headed down to the creek
Ashley feeds Pandas
And then she kicks back
Watching the cubs play
While Joe takes a nap

Off in the distance
A house is erected
For dear Sister Hall
Was just resurrected
Hammers are pounding
The brick line is full
There’s Eni and Tia
And Cashia and Matt
But who is the brother
Wearing that hat?

James Corey of course
And following him
Is Al Guzetta
With his big schoolboy grin
There’s Parker and Joshua
Don’t forget Donavon
Oh when did they all
Get so tall and thin

And As I watch on
It is all going well
I suddenly realize
That Sharon Litrell
Is up on a ladder
Such A great sight to see
As she hums and she
Paints… Oh So happily.

Tonight there’s a party
Out under the stars
Hopefully Carol
Brings her lemon bars
And Larry tells stories
Of the places they’ve been
From Timbuktu
And back again

The sisters are cooking
Of course….Sandy too
So many are helping
Yes, more than a few
The food will be great
Nothing new about that
The difference is now
No one will get fat

Out in the Field
The brothers play ball
Richard’s the ump
And just made the call
You can’t tell the difference
Between them and the kids
For into home plate
Mike Hodas just slid

Time doesn’t allow me
To speak about all
Of the new friends I have
In the Tice Kingdom Hall
When time is a plenty
And all things are new
I look forward to all
Of the things we will do

This story’s not over
We’re really not through
It’s only beginning
And I’m telling you
The Fun we will have
The great things we’ll do
Serving Jehovah
Together with you
