God was Alone

God was all alone
So he decided to make
Others to join him
A Long time this would take

A beautiful Angel
First one God created
His father loved him
On his God he waited

His name was Michael
But You know him as Jesus
He works very hard
His father he pleases

As God’s master worker
Creating all things
He witnessed great miracles
And the joys that they bring

Michael was not
The only Angel God made
There were Myriads of others
In heaven they stayed

God said to Jesus
Let us make man
To live on the earth
And his home he’ll expand

In our image we’ll make him
He’ll have a good life
He won’t be alone
We’ll make him a wife

They will take care of
all of my creatures
Enjoying the earth
And all of it’s features

The Garden of Eden
Will be beautiful
With the rivers and trees
And grand waterfalls

Right in the middle
I’m planting a tree
To see if these people
Really love me

The tree of knowledge
Mustn’t be touched
If they pass that test
They’ll gain so much

For I’ll give them the fruit
From the tree of life
Thus they’ll never know
What it means to have strife

If they will obey
They can live forever.
Fulfilling all of their hopes
And their endeavors.

Then one of the angels
Got really jealous.
Deep in his heart
Bad feelings developed.

We do not know
His heavenly name.
To us he’s the “devil”
For God he did blame.

Deceiving the woman
He got her to eat.
Some of The fruit from
That forbidden tree.

When Eve told Adam
What she had done.
She gave him the fruit
He also ate some.

Eve was deceived
But Adam was not.
He chose his wife
Over his God.

The devil sure knew
What he was doing.
He chose the weak link
With trouble ensuing.

Jehovah was saddened
That they made this choice.
But he’d given them freedom
To have their own voice.

Was it a mistake
To have created man?
Jehovah came up
With an alternate plan.

He could not allow
The choice that they made.
Be a crime for which
The universe paid.

Peace and happiness
Must be restored.
Because That’s what he had
Created it for.

Should he wipe them out
And just start all over?
No that would just prove
That he was an ogre.

He needed all of
His creatures to see
That he was loving
And fair as could be.

They needed to know
That they weren’t meant to rule
And that human leaders
Could be very cruel.

Satan the devil
God says he will oust
But Until then
They continue to joust

Our loving father
And his wayward son
Will continue to spar
Until this system’s done

A rescue work
Is now underway
When it is finished
He will not delay

Peace and happiness
will be restored
Uniting the children
He has long adored.

With Jesus as king
For 1000 years
Doing away with the pain
And all the tears

When the finale is reached
And perfection restored
We will be United
Forevermore
