Knowledge leads to Confidence

The light gets brighter
As a new day dawns
Revealing the freshness
And excitement it spawns

Jehovah is giving us
The knowledge we need
Our confidence in him
Is bolstered indeed

As the end gets closer
There’s no need to doubt
He’ll give us the knowledge
That will help us out

Regular updates
From the faithful slave
A loving provision
Which our God gave

How comforting it is
To know we’ll be fed
The brothers directing
With Jesus as head

We’ll see kingdom truths
Continually unveiled
Miraculous revelations
And prophecies fulfilled

The times that we live in
Both exciting and scary
Confidence we have
But the world should be wary

Without knowledge of God
They’re stuck in the dark
Their future is bleak
And it looks very stark

We have confidence knowing
What lies in store
For God’s side will win
Of this we are sure

There’s no need to doubt
Or to quake in fear
Our cries for help
He will always hear

When it’s all over and
we look around
There will be no wicked
Left to be found

We will be so happy
That our lives were saved
By the confidence we had
In the knowledge he gave.
